The Spanish law "Yes is yes" faces disagreement (Group A)

Recently, the Spanish governement established a new law called "yes is yes". It says that, before having sexual relations, the consent of everyone in a sexual relationship is needed.

The law has caused controversy because it says that the consent must be of a person that is totally conscious. In our opinion, this law should have been perfectionated before it was applied because it has so many legal gaps.

Some of them are the next:

-It's too hard to check if the consent was given or if he person that gave it was totally conscious.

-If the consent is given totally conscious, but when you are going to have sexual relations someone isn't totally conscious, the law can be hard to apply.

-A more actual problem is that the law is mainly thought for women because of the gender violence and if a woman is the affected person, the law probably is going to be harder with their responsable person (probably a man) that if the affected person is a man and the responsable is a woman.

Finally, as a conclusion, this law is not bad but it should have been perfectionated before it was applied.
