The Hijab's Controversy (Group A)

A 22 year old woman received a brutal beating by the Iranian police for not wearing the hijab in an appropriate position. Three days later, she died due to the injuries. This event has caused that thousands of women demonstrated against the Shariala Law that says that women must use a hijab covering their hair and wear clothes that cover all their bodies.

The 1997 revolution established a law which people didn't disagree with, but this event has caused that a big amount of Iranian women decided to remove their hijabs today. For the moment, 31 women have died in the conflict.
