Who are we?

ABOUT US!

Hello! This is all you can know about us.

We are a group of students of the third-year of Secondary Education ( 9th grade) and we decided to design our own blog to share some international and national news with all the people overseas.

We study at the Saénz De Buruaga High School, which is in Mérida (Spain), and we belong to the Bilingual section.

2022-23 academic year was the selected timing to begin the project, which was idealised by our English teacher Beatriz Cabrera Portillo.

The blog's name is Wake up due to the fact that some people believe we live in a wonderful world, but actually despite all these thoughts, there are many terrible incidents and news that are compulsory to know and so we, the fortcoming generations, must develop a critical thought about all these news and open our eyes to reality.

We are not only creating this blog just to make people know about news; we also want to cooperate with each other and learn how to work with other classmates, which will be of use in the near future.

We hope people see this fantastic project. It's very exciting to develop this and share all our stories and information across frontiers!

Thank you so much for helping us by having a look at the page; you can share it with more people so we can help them too!
