This is nothing new: activists have recently thrown tomato soup at the famous painting of Sunflowers by Vincent van Gogh. After throwing it, they stayed in front of the painting and said this: "What is worth more, art or life?".
Our thoughts on this is that this action was unnecesary: we haven't got anything against protesting over important things like the climate change, but destroying art over this is mean and completely wrong. This happened a lot of times in the past, like when someone threw a cake at Mona Lisa, or another activist drew "1,5º" between the Naked Maja and the Clothed Maja. We think that this shouldn't be repeated again, and these actions need to stop.
