The world's first electric plane launch (Group A)

Some great news for the aviation world and for the means of transport have been recently reporteda. It’s the launch of Alice, the first electric plane, created by Eviation which is an Israelite company that was founded in 2015 and since then they’ve been trying to create this plane and finally they’ve done it, Eviation estimates that Alice will be released to the public in 2027, however, that could change. The plane can carry 9 occupants, 2 more if the pilots are counted. It’s powered by 21500 little Tesla battery cells. The batteries weigh 4 tons which is half of the weight of the whole plane. The plane reaches a maximum velocity of 481 km/h thanks to its 2 engines of 700 kW each (940 CV each one of them). It measures 17,4 m of length, 19,2 m of width and 3,84 m of height, a similar size to a private jet. Its cabin can be configured to an executive use, and for transport of goods with a capacity of 113,3 kg. To end with the technical data, it should be mentioned that Alice is designed to complete short distance flights (approximately 400 km). Comparing it with a plane of the same proportions, it makes a lot less noise. This project is too risky and for that reason Aviation isn’t sure if they’re going to profit from this.
