In October, 7th 2022 the new law only ''yes means yes'' came into force.
In our opinion this new law has got a very big issue: sexual abussers have a small prison sentences from 4 to 12 years.
This law can only be applied if the sexual intercourse entails penetration.
We think that this law isn't bad at all, since it does not come into force, many private cases will not come out and victims will be left unprotected.
Finally this law is an advance for these women that have been violated because in order to declare it a crime, they need just a few proofs to demonstrate their innocence.
